I swear, I hate it when people make excuses for themselves. You hear it all the time; the idea of someone looking for someone or something else to blame when they suffer from various shortcomings in their lives. It’s like they live for the idea that their world sucks simply because of something else.
It’s like some sort of equation. X sucks in your life because of Y and Z. They’re so quick to point their finger and look for something to be the reason for their shortcomings. But what they fail to realize is that they fucked up themselves; that their world sucks because of bad decisions on their part.
Of course there are circumstances when the man was out to get you for some reason or another or your circumstances were shitty to begin with. But the occurrence of that is very few and far between. To be honest, I’m going to say that a good.
Sometimes, people need to man up and own up to their mistakes. Everything’s fixable, it’s whether or not you are willing to put the effort to fix what’s wrong with you.
Oh, and when I say sometimes, I mean all the time. I’m just saying.
